At the heart of the celebration is a generous festive dining experience at Sunset Terrace, available from 12 January to 22 February 2026. Inspired by the warmth of village gatherings, the Roots of Prosperity Buffet blends traditional Chinese New Year favourites with refined culinary touches, creating a dining experience that feels both nostalgic and contemporary.
Guests can savour comforting classics such as Lap Mei Fan alongside elevated highlights including Signature Winter Truffle Chicken Rice and Longevity Blue River Prawn Noodles.
Delicate dishes such as sautéed baby abalone with mushroom, signature black garlic soup and oysters with garlic add depth and indulgence to the spread, while bolder flavours shine through Sichuan shaokao skewers, Sichuan whole roasted lamb served with bao and traditional chee cheong fun.
Complementing the feast is a wide variety of seafood, international specialities, fresh salads and festive desserts, rounding off a celebration of abundance and joy.

The highlight of the festive calendar arrives on 16 February 2026 with a special Reunion Dinner Buffet, priced at MYR258.00+ per adult and MYR129.00+ per child or senior citizen. The evening is elevated with live calligraphy performances, a special appearance by the God of Prosperity and celebratory moments designed to bring families together in meaningful ways.
For those seeking a more exclusive experience, Sunway Resort Hotel presents a one night only Prosperous Reunion Gathering at the Grand Lagoon Ballroom. Guests are treated to an elegant eight course menu that celebrates reunion and prosperity, beginning with a vibrant Chinese New Year yee sang featuring smoked salmon, snow pear and quinoa. Tables are priced at MYR1,728.00+ for six persons, MYR2,168.00+ for eight persons and MYR2,688.00+ for ten persons, with early booking privileges available for reservations made before 31 January 2026.
