Khalil Ibrahim remains one of Malaysia’s most celebrated artists, renowned for his depictions of the East Coast community and their traditions. Trained at the Central Saint Martins School of Art, London, Khalil’s career spanned over five decades, during which he developed a distinctive style that fused modernist sensibilities with local subject matter.
