Khalil Ibrahim is widely regarded as one of Malaysia’s finest watercolour artists, renowned for his lyrical landscapes and masterful handling of light and atmosphere. A graduate of London’s Central Saint Martins School of Art, he drew enduring inspiration from the coastal scenery and fishing villages of his native Kelantan, translating everyday scenes into evocative compositions through fluid washes and expressive brushwork.
