Jalan Alor, located in the heart of Bukit Bintang is a foodie’s haven. When night falls, Jalan Alor makeshifts into a dining street that stretches out as far as the eyes can see. Locals and tourists alike flock to this spot for its varieties of palatable dishes. There’s something to suit even discerning palates here so everyone can enjoy. We recommend heading to this street in a group of friends of family so you you can order a variety of dishes to share. Most restaurants are open until the wee hours of the morning to cater to those who enjoy supper.
Ngau Kee Beef Noodles (Non-Halal)

If you frequent Jalan Alor, you would know that this Ngau Kee Beef Noodles stall is one of the veterens here. Their expertise in serving beef noodles is enhanced by decades at Jalan Alor. Nestled amid several other stalls at Tengkat Tong Shin, this stall can be easily be missed. The signature beef noodles are served with a bowl of clear soup with springy beef balls. They have an awesome chilli sauce to mix it in for that extra oomph factor.polenta.
Alor Corner Curry Mee (Non-Halal)

Curry mee fans would find that this humble stall will blow your socks off. Besides curry mee, they’re also a purveyor os asam laksa, fish balls and prawn noodles. A bountiful amount of noodles is bathed in a sumptuous and hot curry laden with the usual chicken strips, cockled, fish cake, prawns, and tofu puffs.
Naturally, this bowl of deliciousness should be consumed immediately to immerse in the flavours orchestrated for you.
Restoran Meng Kee Grill Fish

Restoran Meng Kee is constantly bustling and we now know why. Its grilled seafood items are the main highlight here. Customers would have to pick their seafood of choice from the display and they would grill it to perfection. We took pleasure in grilled spicy fish and sambal. The grilled squid was also divine. We love seafood and we love that this eatery whipped up delight on a plate.
Kedai Makanan & Minuman TKS (Non-Halal)

Should you get a hankering for Szechuan cuisine, TKS is where you go to. This restaurant embodies the fiery element that makes up the Szechuan fare. A highlight at this place is the beef and cabbage soup. A bowl of steamy soup comes with tender beef in a bowl. The pot stickers, basically fried potatoes and peppercorns are filled with minced pork served with a spicy garlic sauce. It is a guilty pleasure you wouldn’t feel guilty about.

Jalan Alor wouldn’t be what it is without W.A.W aka Wong Ah Wah because it has been there since before we could remember. It was and is notorious for them oh-so-good, delectable barbecued chicken wings. Patrons are given choices to dine comfortably indoors or outside where you can watch the antics of passerby’s. In addition to the barbecued chicken wings, this eatery is also infamous for its salted egg crab, butter prawns and lala in black bean sauce, amongst other items.
