Kampung Baru
When you ask people to conjure up images of the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, probably most will think of the Petronas Twin Towers, the bright lights of Bukit Bintang or the cultural heritage of the Chinatown area and the old Colonial district.

Chinatown – Petaling Street
The mix of modern and traditional culture side makes Kuala Lumpur a great place to visit for families as well as solo travelers. Chinatown Kuala Lumpur is located in the old part of KL City and is a starting point for many travelers exploring the local cuisine and colorful culture of this iconic city.

Chinatown has been the heart of tourist activities for years before, other modern development in KLCC, Bukit Bintang, and Bangsar along with other suburbs started attracting international visitors for their unique mix of modern lifestyle and travel experiences.

Located not far from the famous KLCC area, Kampang Baru sits just north of the Klang River. Until fairly recently access was quite difficult. The river and AKLEH highway provided a natural barrier between it and the commercial district. However, early in 2020 Pintasan Saloma opened. As well as being a visually beautiful link bridge and a great spot to visit in its own right, it also makes the trip from KLCC to Kampung Baru much easier.
