DINING OCTOBER 2020

Craveat

By Agnes Aui

It’s uncommon to find places that serve generous portions of Western and Arabic dishes. Which is why we were ecstatic when we found Craveat. Located in Shah Alam is the family-friendly restaurant that whips up everything Western and Arabic. From pastas and burgers to steaks and platters, the options are endless.

When visiting Craveat, it’s wise to invite some family members or friends as the restaurant offers generous platters where you can get every single bite. Try the Arabic platter (suitable for two to three people) featuring rice with roasted chicken, lamb chop, sirloin steak, fattoush salad, garlic sauce and Arabic salsa.

You can also opt for the Craveat platter (suitable for three to four people) that includes BBQ chicken wings, rib eye steak, sirloin steak, mac and cheese, French fries, garlic bread and two jumbo chicken sausages. Alternatively, you can try the hungry platter that’s also recommended for three to four people, featuring items like BBQ chicken wings, chicken chop, lamb chop, spaghetti aglio olio, sirloin steak and French fries.

If platters are not your thing, fret not as they have other popular delights such as the double beef burger, shakshuka beef with garlic bread, spaghetti buttermilk, Chinese fried rice, pan-fried salmon and more. One thing’s for sure, you’ll never run out of options when dining in at Craveat.
