Keyt’s paintings often explore themes of intimacy, affection and the human figure, particularly through closely intertwined compositions of women and lovers. His figures are frequently stylised with elongated features, sweeping contours and expressive gestures, creating a sense of bothtenderness and emotional intensity.
In this Untitled work from 1984, the close positioning of the two female figures reinforces these recurring themes of human connection andcompanionship. Their overlapping forms and gentle gestures create a feeling of closeness, while the warm palette and rhythmic lines lend the composition a soft, almost lyrical quality.
