Raphael Scott Ahbeng transforms the natural world into a vibrant tapestry of colour, movement and organic forms. Against a deep, atmosphericground, flashes of blue, orange, red and white suggest birds, blossoms and foliage, creating an almost dreamlike garden alive with energy. Theartist’s spontaneous brushwork and rich layering give the composition a sense of rhythm and discovery, characteristic of his distinctive visual language.
