The world of luxury beauty doesn’t stop when it comes to new creations – from limited edition makeup to innovative skincare and brand new scents, there’s so much to add to your ever growing collection. We believe in recommending the best of the best, with promising high-end formulas and immaculate quality. This month, we list down our top luxury beauty favourites that will guarantee no disappointment.
The House of Chloé unveils a collection of 12 fragrances, with names that express floral, aromatic or woody notes. Each fragrance has its own signature as Chloé invited renowned perfumers to choose their favourite flower plant or the heart of an exclusive fragrance and share the unique story that binds them. From childhood memories and travel recollections to reminiscences of places or moments that marked their lives, these talented perfumers drew upon their olfactory memories to create these personal, not to say intimate, fragrances steeped in authenticity for Chloé. The fragrances include Rosa Damascena by Amandine Clerc-Marie, Lavanda by Quentin Bisch, Jasminum Sambac by Louise Turner, Papyrus by Alexis Dadier and Tuberosa 1974.
THE ULTIMATE COLLABORATION
For a limited time only, Coach is collaborating with Sephora to release an exclusive line of makeup products. From mascot eyeshadow palettes that double as bag charms to a glittery brush set with wearable mascot rings, this capsule collection playfully brings to life Coach’s American heritage. Featuring three iconic Coach mascots – fearless leader Rexy, sassy Sharky, and magical Uni – this collection is a perfect, eye-catching mélange of buttery mattes, bold metallics, and soft, shimmery shades. The Tea Rose range features a brush set designed with glitter handles and vegan, synthetic bristles, housed in a glitter brush stand with detachable and adjustable rings. The collection completes with the tea rose lip set that boasts four gloss shades.
ROSES ARE GREAT
Having so many stories with rose water, Mathilde Laurent, Cartier’s perfumer, hates the archetype of the rose (an emblem of femininity that withers before it blooms) and longs to give it back to its true nature. With this thought in mind, Cartier presents three perfumes, three strokes of rose take over the Maison’s High Perfumery. The first is Pure Rose, a no- frills perfume that’s just the pure and simple pleasure of a hyper-realistic rose in its most organic form. L’Heure Osee features a punk scent alongside the dreamy rose. It’s explosive and daring as well as fresh and pop, perfect for the young (and the young at heart). Oud & Pink don’t judge, in fact it plays with gender. It’s a rose for women who wear men’s fragrances, who plunges into the gloomy and is unstoppable.
Every day is a fresh slate to express your love to your partner. This month, decode your eternal love with Calvin Klein’s Eternity, a fragrance that’s playfully reimagined for modern lovers with romantic watery florals and fresh green ingredients. Eternity Eau Fresh for Her is a romantic, floral scent inspired by hopeful and new discoveries as well as breathing in the full breath of fresh life. The scent opens with the fruity delight of fresh pear notes and soon envelopes in a sensual watery blend of jasmine, gardenia, rose and peony. The Eternity Cologne for Him is a spicy and earthy cologne inspired by the simple pleasures of the outdoors. The cologne offers a distinctive natural aromatic fragrance with vegetal essence, while the green cardamom top note and bourbon geranium base are at once warm and assuring.
Maskne has proven to be a serious problem for a lot of us, especially during the pandemic. Thus, Dr.Jart+ is introducing the new Ctrl-A Teatreement range that targets acne and blemishes without affecting unconcerned areas. The range features three key products that help reset skin’s natural settings and target blemish-prone areas for a clearer complexion. The mild cleansing foam features pH-balancing Teatreement that removes impurities without stripping moisture. The purifying toner removes excess dirt and oil, then rebalances oily and combination skin, adding quick hydration. Lastly, the lightweight moisturiser is a smart moisturiser that targets blemishes with powerful and rapid results while restoring a healthy balance of oil and moisture that won’t clog pores.
Complementing the House’s makeup collection, Gucci’s new Crayon Contour des Lèvres and Stylo Contour des Yeux will debut in six shades respectively. Crayon Contour des Lèvres is formulated with super emollients to ensure a creamy texture that swipes effortlessly onto the lips. With a soft and blendable formula, the lip contour pencil glides across the mouth with ease for the ultimate precision finish. In six essential shades, this is the perfect tool to fill and shape the lips for true staying power. Stylo Contour des Yeux, on the other hand, is a kohl eye liner pencil that’s long-wearing and waterproof. Offering bold and true colour, it makes it easy to create all kinds of makeup, from vibrant water lines and cat’s eyes to a complete eyeshadow across the lid.
